Privacy Policy
The short version
Fokku stores your tasks, check-ins, and wins on your device. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to profile you. If you ever delete the app, your data goes with it.
What we collect
Locally on your device: tasks, daily check-ins, focus sessions, wins, XP, and app preferences. This data never leaves your phone unless you choose to use an AI feature.
When you use AI features (focus companion, task breaker): the message you send is transmitted over HTTPS to our AI provider for processing and the response is sent back. We do not store these messages after the response is generated.
Anonymous analytics: we collect aggregated, non-personal usage data (such as feature opens and crash reports) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or microphone input. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not build an advertising profile.
Third-party services
AI processing: we use a large-language-model API provider to power the focus companion and task breaker. Messages you send through these features are processed by the provider under their data-handling policies and not retained by us.
App Store analytics: Apple provides us with anonymous download and crash statistics as part of standard App Store Connect reporting.
Your rights
You can delete all your data at any time by deleting the app. You can disable AI features in Settings to keep everything fully offline. If you have questions about your data, email us at privacy@fokkuapp.com.
Children's privacy
Fokku is rated 4+ and safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children. No account is required to use the app.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the date above and note material changes in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
