Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Fokku ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

What Fokku is

Fokku is a productivity companion app that helps you focus, break down tasks, and track your progress. It is not a medical device, therapy tool, or diagnostic instrument. It does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice.

Your account

Fokku does not require an account to use. Your data is stored locally on your device. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your subscription is managed through Apple's App Store and subject to Apple's terms.

Subscriptions and payments

Fokku offers optional paid plans (Plus and Premium). Subscriptions are billed monthly through the App Store. You can cancel at any time in your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.

Prices may change with reasonable notice. Any price change applies to the next billing cycle after the change, not retroactively.

AI features

Fokku uses AI to power the focus companion and task breaker. AI-generated responses are not professional advice. They may occasionally be inaccurate or unhelpful. Use your own judgment.

Messages sent to AI features are processed by a third-party AI provider and are not stored after the response is generated. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Fokku for its intended purpose as a personal productivity tool. You may not: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; use the App to develop a competing product; attempt to bypass subscription restrictions or usage limits; use AI features to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content.

Intellectual property

Fokku, its design, branding, and code are owned by us. Your personal data and content (tasks, check-ins, wins) belong to you. We claim no ownership over your data.

Limitation of liability

Fokku is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any lost data, missed deadlines, or other damages arising from use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Fokku at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. On termination, your local data remains on your device until you delete it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will note them in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
